My journey through this pandemic started back in April 2020 like most people when the whole world seemed to stop. I planned to go on many trips and vacations that were canceled due to the shut down and I’ve been dealing with cabin fever and mental issues that have flared up thanks to all the stress caused by the world ending scenario we find ourselves in. Though, even with everything that seemed to be working against me with the pandemic and in my personal life, I have learned more about myself in the past two months than I have the past two years. I find that when put under immense pressure the human resolve and resilient nature seems to shine the most and one can truly get to know who they really are and what are the important things in life. This terrifying time is a good reminder to everyone that the good parts of life can be taken away and we need to cherish what we have and live in the moment like it might be our last.
