I have learned a lot through this pandemic and continue to do so. Personally, I am considered an essential worker. I must tell you the shift from regular business to curbside has not been easy on any of the workers. Curbside means answering more phones and running in and out of the building a million times of day. Rain or shine I am outside taking care of everyone. Yet, people have the audacity to be rude. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten yelled at, because the business I work at is still curb side. By staying curbside, we are not only protecting ourselves, but the public as well. Through this pandemic I have learned that people need to learn to be more patient and appreciate what you have. I have been worked around the clock. We “Essential workers” are understaffed and underpaid. During this time, I have found that patience is key. Sometimes you need to stop, take a deep breath, and move on.
