I woke up every day going through the same motions: get up, make coffee & breakfast, lay on the couch for 3 hours, eat lunch, more laying on the couch, take a walk, eat dinner, still more laying on the couch, bed time, repeat. It wasn’t until I found something worth doing during this unreal, unusual, confusing time that I started to get into a habit of having a healthy daily schedule. So, I ordered this coloring book off of Amazon and waited as patiently as I could for it to be delivered. Ever since it’s gotten here, it’s been a wonderful motivator to keep myself accountable to not slip into 12 hours on the couch every single day. I give myself daily chores to do around the house, daily school work, etc., and reward myself with relaxing coloring. It has entirely changed my mood, something as simple as an $8 coloring book off Amazon. I never thought something so minuscule could be so helpful! If you’re stuck in a funk of never-ending couch potato-ing like I was, I challenge you to find something like this to get you on a smart, healthy path. Stay safe out there, y’all 🙂
